Hello! I just finished watching your story. I think that the way you handled your relationship is something other young unmarried people should consider when looking for a spouse. I did not know about courtship until after I was married. I found your blog through YouTube. I am also a young wife myself. My blog is still under construction, but hopefully soon I will be able to put a little more time into it. It's great to see young married Christian couples! Blessings, Amanda
Hi, It is so encouraging to see another couple handle there courtship like we did, alsohaving a long distance relationship. even though it is not the norm in todays world it is so presious. our story is very similer to yours. Bless you both Sonya
I am new to your blog today and immediately went to your "Love Story". I am so happy for the chance to watch! I am newly married, well coming up on three years I consider that to still be newly, but my husband and I also met online. Can't wait to read some of your posts!
Just wanted to say I love your blog. You guys are adorable and it's refreshing to read great posts from a fellow homemaker who loves the Lord. :-) Blessings!
What a beautiful and unusual story you have! It is such an encouragement to me as a single lady to know that there are still men like that that hold the same views that I do. When I have one of those days where I am frustrated about waiting on God's timing I will remember your story. Many blessings two you both! Thank you for your wonderful blog!
My husband, who is from Norway, and I met online as well. We met in an online video gaming community, of all places! We spent many long hours playing the game, creating characters, and expressing our creativity and joys of the game together. One day, we realized we were friends, and he started calling me from Norway, while I was living here in California. Over the course of the next year, we decided we should meet, so he came and stayed with me for 7 weeks and I knew that he was the man for me. I made my first trip to Norway that following summer, and he proposed to me that very night that I arrived. 4 Months later, we had a small wedding in the foothills of CA, and I moved to Norway 7 days after that!
That was 6 1/2 years ago. We are currently back in the States, but fully intend to move back to Norway as soon as possible - before our beautiful daughter becomes old enough to start school, we hope (she's 2 now). So congratulations on making that international connection, and following your hearts! Blessed be!
Your story is an inspiration to women everywhere. People DO make valuable connections online, even at sites like alt com. All the best to you, your husband and your family!
